Inclusion is a happening thing in Wolfville, Nova Scotia!
A new initiative is being launched through the collaboration of L’Arche Homefires, the Town of Wolfville, and local businesses, to open up job opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities.
These partners are joining forces to make the business world a more inclusive place based on shared values of accessibility and diversity.
Anna MacDonald, 21, says she’s excited about having a job because she can meet more people in her community.
This project brings together people with different talents to build a community where everyone can contribute and truly belong.
