New Community Leader for L’Arche Lanaudière

Posted 2021-05-17

We want to welcome Isabelle Milliard as the new Community Leader in L'Arche Lanaudière. Isabelle has a background in Communications and Philanthropy, and had joined the community part-time as a fundraiser before being called to this role.

Isabelle writes "I discovered L'Arche Lanaudière a year ago and I literally fell in love! I fell in love with the values of openness to others, the values of caring, respect, inclusion, the mission and of course the people who make up this beautiful and wonderful community!

After having accepted a mandate as Communications and Philanthropy Officer, I am now happy to be involved in new functions as a Community Leader. I am excited and especially grateful to be able to join the existing team, which is recognized for its expertise in the field. I am also filled with gratitude that I was seen as having the qualities required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

During my previous experiences, I was able to develop my management and planning skills. I am passionate about working with a team to achieve goals. I truly believe that together we can make a difference!

My university studies in philanthropic management and my training as a recreation technician have also allowed me to perfect my skills in communications, development strategy, marketing, research and partner retention.

I feel ready for the challenges of this new adventure and I am really looking forward to being able to experience it all, in your company!"
