The World’s First International Lip Syncing Competition Hosted by People With Disabilities!

Posted 2020-11-20

November 2021 - We did it! You have helped lead the way in fueling the greatest amount of online engagement we have ever seen in L'Arche! In total, our lip syncs have been watched over 90,000 times, raised over $102,000, and inspired an immense amount of joy and generosity. THANK YOU for your continued passion, enthusiasm, encouragement and creativity to keep shouting from the rooftops what we know: that the world is better because of people with disabilities.
“Battle of the Fans” is an online video Lip Sync competition and fundraiser created by L’Arche Canada that will happen between November 24 and December 22, 2020 to coincide with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and Giving Tuesday.

L’Arche communities battle each other in a bracketed, single elimination tournament. Total funds will be divided among all participating communities with 50% going to communities (divided equally), 25% to L’Arche Canada, and 25% to solidarity to support L’Arche communities in the global south.

We are excited to invite you to join us in this musical competition with a donation to the mission of L'Arche, and sharing the videos online with your network. Every dollar you donate counts towards reaching our goal of becoming the finalist for this friendly competition, and every “Share” and “Like” on Facebook gets even more points! We appreciate your contribution. The L'Arche community with the most gifts and shares on Facebook, will become the final winner.

Thank you for helping us get there! You Rock!
